Bashibukombe In Zambia
by: Anonymous

What I can say about the issue at hand is, your grandfather can't be bashibukombe due to the fact that you are related. A family member can't play any roles in ways of being bashibukombe, banabukombe and matron.

Many are the things to be taught but if your grandfather takes part he will end up disclosing a lot of things about your family, hence it will lead to family conflicts. I think i end here.

Bashibukombe In Zambia
by: Joel

Hello,

Here is one of the observations made by one of our readers of Zambia Advisor.com…

"Grandpa cannot be my go in between (middle man or woman), bashi bukombe. The reason being, a neutral person with good knowledge of the tribe of the bride is supposed to be one engaged.

Grandpa or grandma can be biased in the dealings. Grandma or grandpa is supposed to be recipient of the bride and advise to the groom. My opinion."

All the best.
