Manchinchi Bay Lodge is conveniently located on the shores of one of the world’s biggest man-made lakes, Lake Kariba, just 200 metres from Siavonga Harbour. It is Siavonga town’s most outstanding lodge.
The Lodge is also 1.6 kilometres from Siavonga Hospital and 2.9 kilometres away from Kaliolio Siavonga Croc Farm.
The visitor is at liberty to go boat cruising and enjoy magnificent views and stunning sunsets of Lake Kariba.
Lake Kariba is one of the biggest man-made lakes in the world and by volume it is Africa's largest man-made lake. It came into being when a dam was built on the Zambezi River. Lake Kariba was filled between 1958 and 1963.
The Lodge offers fishing trips on this magnificent lake. Most common species are Kariba bream, Barbell, Tilapia and Tiger fish.
