The Levy Business Park, also known as Levy Park or Levy Mwanawasa Business Park was opened on 24th November 2011. In fact, hundreds of people from all walks of life came to witness the grand opening of the Levy Park scheduled at 09:00 hours.
The Park is named after third president of the Republic of Zambia Levy Mwanawasa.
The mall, dubbed as the "latest jewel" cost about $165 million and took almost 2 years to complete.
There are over 74 reasons why you should visit The Levy Business Park…
What are the reasons?
It is the over 74 retail shops found here!
Most of the businesses here are South African.
Among the shops found in the 28,000 square–metre complex includes the Stay Easy Hotel by the giant hotelier, The Southern Sun, multi–national chain store Pick 'n Pay, the combo of Edgars, Sterns, Mud Jeans, Jets, Exact, Fresh View and several other eating places.
And the Levy Park has a spacious car park to accommodate about 2,700 vehicles.
Found a stone throw away from the business centre, at the intersection of Church and Kabelenga roads, the levy Park was developed by National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) through Liberty Properties of South Africa and is the first shopping mall that combines offices, hotel and shops in the country.
Concerning this Project, the Liberty website says:
Indeed, the development will help decongest the central business district (CBD).
