Sioma Camp is a relatively new camp in the hospitality business in Zambia. There are actually two camps, the Sioma River Camp and the Sioma Bush Camp, located about 25 kilometres from the Sioma Falls.
The Camp, as an eco-tourism camp ensures that minimal ecological and other form of damage is done to areas being visited.
Consequently, both camps, the Sioma River Camp and the Sioma Bush Camp, are promoting the use of sustainable energy sources like a combination of water turbines and solar power for energy.
The Sioma River Camp is located in Western Province of Zambia, south of the Sioma Falls, which is also known as the Ngonye Falls, near the Sesheke-Senanga road.
The Camp offers the following accommodation alternatives; the Sioma River Camp (with a self-catering campsite available) and the Sioma Bush Camp.
Sioma River Camp has 6 Luxury safari tents and 4 standard safari tents, with a kitchen, restaurant/bar and lounge within the main Lodge.
