Ndole Bay Lodge

Ndole Bay Lodge is located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, the longest and the second deepest freshwater lake in the world.

As a guest, you will be offered a lot of water activities on the lake which includes fishing, swimming, snorkeling, bird watching, water skiing and kayaking. Alternatively, you can simply relax and watch the sunset on the waters of the Lake.

Out And About

Because of its location, most activities at the Lodge are centered on the lake.

You can also enjoy game viewing and birding in the Nsumbu National Park or go fishing.

Nsumbu National Park

Nsumbu National Park is home to big game like buffalos, elephants and hippos. Sightings of leopard and lion are not rare.

Wildlife also includes bushbuck, warthog, puku, roan, sable, eland, hartebeest, zebra, duiker, crocodiles, antelope, sitatunga, hyena, side-striped jackal, serval, impala, waterbuck and reedbuck.

It is located in the northern province of Zambia and it’s shared by Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Tanzania and Zambia. But only 7 percent of its surface area is within Zambia. The Lake is home to more than 350 different species of fish and fishing is the main economic activity.
