National Institute Of Public Administration (NIPA) has clocked 52 years since its establishment in 1963. Wholly owned by the Zambian government, NIPA has come a long way and it can today boast of the large number of its former students who are today in gainful employment in various sectors of the economy.
For the past 52 years, NIPA has been producing men and women who today are contributing to the development of not only the Zambian economy but beyond Zambian borders as well.
The NIPA is living up to its mission which states;
“To Provide Innovative Market Driven Professional Training Programmes, Research and Consultancy Services To The Public And Private Sector And Individuals In Order To Enhance Performance And Contribute To National Development.’’
The Institution provides full time, part time and distance learning courses.

As of 24 February 2017 Chipata became a city, making a total of five cities in Zambia, namely Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola and Livingstone!
