Muyanganas – Picnic Water Front Campsite in Kafue Town

Muyanganas is the place to try if you want to get away from it all. Every Saturdays and Sundays people troop to this picnic water front of its kind!

Found just before the kafue river bridge towards Livingstone, by the kafue river, the place is a crowd puller. Incidentally, the Kafue River forms the boundary between Lusaka province which ends here at the bridge and Southern province starts on the side of the road.

Last time I passed there, I asked one of the people milling around why there were so many people around. He told me, “boss they are just enjoying themselves. If you want, you can also have a boat cruise on the Kafue Queen over there”, he pointed in the other direction on the other side of the road where I saw the boat.
