New Fairmount Hotel and Casino – A whole New Experience

On 10th May 2011 we booked into New Fairmount Hotel and Casino and checked out on 14th May 2011.

The hotel is found right in the center of Livingstone.

Right at the front office, there was a flier which indicated that they provide the following rooms: Executive Double, Executive Queen, Lion Suite, Executive Twin, Executive Single, Standard Twin and Executive Lounge Suite.

After checking the money we had, my wife and I decided to go for the Standard Twin.It was immaculate!

The room which we occupied was air-conditioned, had a 12 channel satellite television, safe, private fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, office desk and other paraphernalia!

If I am not mistaken this hotel in Livingstone has over 400 rooms. And as it is situated in the centre of Livingstone town, it offers accessibility to all that this area has to offer.

I nearly forgot about the meals! The place has two restaurants. They provide a variety of meals: Continental, Chinese and Indian cuisine.

Adjacent to the restaurants is the bar, stocked with all kinds of beers.

Other Facilities

There are three conference facilities. The largest can accommodate 270 delegates, another 100 delegates and the smaller 80 delegates.

Right at the reception, bookings can be made for Rhino walks, Helicopter rides, Rafting, Game drives, Boat Cruises and many more. Also the hotel offers free shuttles to and from the Livingstone International Airport. Other facilities include a swimming pool and a secure car park.

Of course , not to be forgotten for the young at heart is the high-tech night club which offers late night entertainment and an exclusive member’s lounge.
