Bordering the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia is the luxurious Croc Valley Camp.
The Croc Valley Boutique Camp is renowned for its
large concentration of mammals. As you seat from the comfort and safety of
your chalet, the bar, restaurant and the pool side, you can see a
wide-ranging variety of wildlife.
The chalets have been built on raised stilts to provide fantastic view from which you can see wildlife that wanders through the camp.
Elephant
The camp which is situated in an oasis along the banks of the Luangwa River was renovated in 2005. It is an affordable lodge and caters for the budget traveler.

The camp is also well suited for campers, overland trucks with parking areas, fire places, power points, hot showers and ablutions.
Animal and bird life
Suitably situated, the camp is a regular host to elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, antelope, giraffe, hippos and buffalo. It is a common sight to see elephants crossing the river and strolling in through the camp on a regular basis.
Also not to be missed is birdlife which you view in abundance. You will be able to see many migratory birds and regular residents like Open Billed Stocks, African Fish Eagles, beaters and many more.
Safari
You can go on safari in the comfort of the especially adapted game –viewing vehicle or venture out on foot. You will be accompanied by resident professional guides who know the place like the back of their hands. It will be an unforgettable your experience!
You can take a morning drive in the open vehicle and watch the antelopes, elephants, zebras, warthogs, lions, leopards, birds and Thornicroft giraffe which is found nowhere else but here.
Between safaris, the swimming pool provides the perfect place to relax and cool off. Hammocks are also available around the camp overseeing the river and the swimming pool.
You are served with ice cold drinks from the bar which is always open as you relax by the pool, hammock or catch up with the news on the satellite TV.
